COURTLAND—A Franklin man will serve six months in jail for selling heroin to an undercover agent.

Reginald Leon Hunt, 53, who was sentenced in Southampton County Circuit Court for two counts of selling and distributing heroin, also was placed on six year probation, according to court records.

Hunt was one of eight arrested on drug charged in January of 2011. Police found a .22 caliber rifle, ammunition and crack cocaine during a search of his Bruce Street home.
