NSA names head of upper school

SUFFOLK—Nansemond-Suffolk Academy has named Christopher Cox the new head of the upper school today.

Cox will replace Brenda Kincaid, who will retire in June after holding the job for 33 years.

Cox comes from Kent Denver School in Englewood, Colo., where he was the ninth-grade global studies team leader and co-developer of an upper school global studies course as well as developing and teaching an international relations elective.

Cox has a master’s degree in global studies from the University of Denver, a bachelor’s degree in the arts with a concentration in history and English from Bucknell University and completed the Study Abroad Program at the University College Dublin.
