FRANKLIN—A Franklin woman was charged with felony child endangerment after her 2-year-old son was found not to be in a car seat during a Friday night police chase on the south side of town, Franklin police said.

Sharmise Fleetwood, 21, also allegedly refused to cooperate with police after the driver went through several yards before stopping the vehicle and running, police said.

Police have issued arrest warrants for the driver, Duwane Faulk, 21, of Franklin. He faces charges of felony eluding and child endangerment, and reckless driving.
