WINDSOR—Two were arrested during a DUI checkpoint on Courthouse Highway in Windsor on Friday night.

Conducted by Windsor Police and Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office, the checkpoint resulted in the arrest of Toney Filmore Jr., 64, of Windsor for drunken driving and driving under a suspended licenses.

Tiffany Carpenter, 22, of Smithfield was charged with possession of heroin.

Police also issued 19 citations to motorists.
