MURFREESBORO, NC –The Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating its 60th Annual Banquet at Whitley’s Barbecue on Monday, March 19.

The social hour and silent auction begin at 6 p.m. There will be appetizers and music. A buffet dinner will begin at 7 followed by the awards presentation and speaker Dr. Chris White, president of Chowan University.

This year’s awards include the Chamber of Commerce Award, the Sammy Doughtie Community Service Award given by Murfreesboro radio station WDLZ-FM, and the Front Page Award by the Roanoke-Chowan News-Herald.

Tickets, available at the Roberts Vaughan Chamber office or from any Chamber Board Member, are $25.
