SUFFOLK—Bessie Nelson McCarthy, 84, of Suffolk died Thursday, March 1, 2012.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, in Holly Lawn Cemetery in Suffolk.

Mrs. McCarthy was a retired salesperson for Montgomery Ward and Leggett’s Department Store.

Among her survivors is son Steven A. McCarthy of Wakefield.

Parr Funeral Home of Suffolk is in charge of arrangements.
