WAKEFIELD – The Tidewater Academy girls’ basketball team will host Roanoke Catholic in the first round of the Virginia Independent Schools’ Athletic Association state tournament at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28.

The Lady Raiders are ranked seventh in the state after a loss to Southampton Academy in the Virginia Commonwealth Conference Tournament and will host a Division III VISAA tournament game for the first time.

The winner of the first-round game will face Amelia Academy Wednesday in Amelia.
