EURE, N.C.—Maggie Lee Eure Tinkham, 88, of Eure died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, N.C.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Cool Spring Baptist Church, followed by burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main St., Gatesville, and other times at the family residence.

Mrs. Tinkham was a retired clerk with the Eure post office.

Among her survivors is daughter Cathy Cutchins of Newsoms.
