CARRSVILLE—Dorothy Butler Tyree, 76, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

Dorothy was predeceased by a grandson, J. Dean Tyree Jr.; great-grandson, Blake Michael Beaty; and her brothers, Roger Lee Butler and John Carlton Butler.

She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Bobby L. Tyree; sons, Duane Tyree and wife, Cathy, and Jerry Tyree and wife, Leslie; daughter, Sherry Joshi; stepmother, Clara Butler; grandchildren Sandy Beaty and husband, Michael, Ryan Joshi and wife, Kacy, Christopher Joshi and Davey Lee Tyree; great-grandchildren Brycen and Brayden Beaty; sister, Louise Butler Noles; stepbrother, Charles Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Southampton Memorial Park with Rev. Curt Faison officiating.
