EMPORIA—Mr. Warren H. Boger, 91, of Weaver Avenue, Emporia, Va., passed February 18, 2012.

He was born December 20, 1920, in Isle of Wight County, Va.

Warren was retired from Medical Center Hospital in Albany, N.Y.

He was a member of House of Prayer Church, Franklin, Va., under the leadership of the late Bishop C.E. Hicks.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Elizabeth Whitehead Clarke; two sisters, Mary Ricks and Glowrene Seaborne; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

A homegoing celebration will be held Thursday, February 23, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. at New Mt. Joy Holiness Church, 500 Washington Ave., Franklin, with Elder C.S. Ricks delivering the eulogy; Elder Lloyd Watson is pastor.

The interment will take place in Southview Cemetery.
