Ednola Britton Fuller

BOYKINS—Ednola Britton Fuller, 94, passed away on February 17, 2012, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of Boykins Baptist Church for 70 years, where she served as leader of BTU and numerous children’s programs, was the head of the kitchen as well as a member of the LLL Sunday School Class.

She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was an assistant mail carrier for 16 years.

Mrs. Fuller loved to fish and to arrange the beautiful flowers that she had grown.

She also was proud of the Tree of Life quilt that she made for her only son, Tim.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 75 years, Earl Fuller; her son, Dr. Earl “Tim” Fuller Jr. and wife, Dean; sister, Janice Davis; brother, Pete Britton; grandchildren Eric and Travis Fuller; and great-grandchildren Amelia and Jacob Fuller.

She was predeceased by her brother, Hinton Britton; and her four sisters, Nita Fuller, Lillie Mae Askew, Mable Pierce and Virginia Dare “Skipper” Murray.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2012, at Boykins Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Bunn officiating. Burial will be private at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church fellowship hall and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Boykins Baptist Church.
