SUFFOLK—Unity Chappell Bailey, 85, of Suffolk died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012.

A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Oxford United Methodist Church in Suffolk. Visitation will follow at the home of Joe and Nancy Webb.

A graduate of Courtland High School, Mrs. Bailey was a retired principal of Suffolk High School and Booker T. Washington Middle School. In addition, she was a member of the adjunct faculty at Paul D. Camp Community College.
