CHESTERFIELD—Franklin’s Darrien Duck scored a three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the junior varsity Broncos past host Chesterfield 32-29 on Tuesday.

The game went back and forth for four quarters. Franklin Coach Robby Cutchins called a timeout with 1.4 seconds to go in the game and the scoreboard read 29-29.

The Broncos had the ball on the baseline underneath their goal. Cutchins drew up two options for Terry Warren, the in-bounder. First option was to Domique Gainey under the goal, who didn’t appear open, and the second option Duck in the corner, who caught and shot the ball immediately for the win.
