SUFFOLK—Edward Allen Rawls Sr., 83, of Suffolk died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, in Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, and other times at his residence.

Mr. Rawls was a retired employee of Newport News Shipbuilding.

Among his survivors is a son, John Stephen Rawls of Windsor.
