PETERSBURG—Franklin High School girls lost 54-25 to Appomattox Regional Governor’s School for their opening Tri-Rivers District basketball game on Tuesday.

Leading the Lady Broncos was Breia Walloe with 14 points and four rebounds. Lyntroya Bagby added five points and three rebounds.

The Lady Broncos are 0-7 overall and 0-1 in the district.
