ZUNI-Marvin “Joe” Euris Hobbs, 86, of Zuni died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church. Burial will be held at a later date in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory in Suffolk and other times at the family residence. Masonic rites will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hobbs was a farmer and later sold real estate for Century 21.
Among his survivors is his wife, Helen Johnson Hobbs, and a son, Gayle, both of Zuni.
