To the Editor:

I would just like to say thank you to certain staff members at Liz’s Simply Divine.

My best friend came to visit for Christmas and we decided to eat lunch there.

It started out as a not-so-enjoyable experience.

They were extremely busy, which was obvious. Our waitress did not check on us, however, the manager Keith did stop several times. After a lengthy wait and an abolished lunch hour, I left, leaving my friend behind at the table.

When she went to pay, she was told not to worry and please come back and see us again.

It’s nice to know small-town people can still be friendly and hospitable.

So, thank you to Cora Ann and Keith for making my friend’s visit a pleasurable one. And we will most certainly come back again.
