SEBRELL—Ester Smith Babb, 62, passed away December 26, 2011, at Sentara Louise Obici Hospital with her family at her bedside.

She was born in Franklin and was predeceased by her father, Rupert Dean Smith.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 38½ years, Tom Babb; daughter, Tracy B. Mattox; son, T.J. Babb; mother, Berta Johnson Smith; brother, Ronnie D. Smith; and her grandchildren, Katie Marie Mattox and Carlee Rae Babb.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Barn Tavern Cemetery, Sebrell.
