FRANKLIN—A Franklin father and son have been released from Sentara Norfolk General Hospital after the driver of a station wagon pulled into the path of their pickup near Riverdale Elementary School.
Alvin Blow, 52, and Trevor Blow, 10, were hurt in the 8 a.m. Monday crash, said Virginia State Police Trooper K.L. Morrison.
Jason Pascucci, 20, of Franklin drove a 1999 Mercury Sable from the stop sign at Delaware Road onto Camp Parkway, into the path of the Blows’ 1999 Ford F-150. The impact caused the half-ton pickup to overturn, Morrison said.
Pascucci, who was not injured, was cited for failure to yield to the right of way.
Both vehicles were destroyed.
