CORAPEAKE, N.C.-Hyla Eugenia Harrup Brinkley, 75, of Corapeake died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Eureka Baptist Church, followed by burial in the church cemetery. Miller Funeral Home of Gatesville was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brinkley was born in Southampton County.
