FRANKLIN—A Franklin father and son were flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital after the driver of a station wagon pulled into the path of their pickup near Riverdale Elementary School, Virginia State Police reported

Alvin Blow, 42, and Trevor Blow, 10, were hurt in the 8 a.m. Monday crash, said Trooper K.L. Morrison. Conditions for both were not available as of late this morning.

Jason Pascucci, 20, of Franklin drove a 1999 Mercury Sable from the stop sign at Delaware Road onto Camp Parkway, into the path of the Blows’ 1999 Ford F-150. The impact caused the half-ton pickup to overturn, Morrison said.

Pascucci, who was not injured, was cited for failure to yield to the right-of-way.

Both vehicles were destroyed.
