To the Editor:

Well, the Western Tidewater Tea Party lived up to what it really is. A grassroots group who does not care about the “D” or the “R” or the “I.” Conservatism is the goal.

Let it be known for the last election we helped work to get four independents in office, one Democrat for Southampton County and one Republican for the House. Not a bad record for those who condemn us for what we stand for.
