COURTLAND—A Franklin man recently pleaded guilty in Southampton County Circuit Court to stealing diapers and baby formula valued at $233 from Farm Fresh.

Eric Louis Bradshaw, 40, will be sentenced Thursday, Feb. 9, on grand larceny charges related to the 5:30 p.m. July 28 theft.

Police received a call from the Armory Drive store after Bradshaw ran out with a shopping buggy full of diapers and formula, and got into a late model Volvo.

Police situated themselves along roadways and spotted the car as it took the South Street exit of Highway 58 and stopped the vehicle.

Bradshaw also pleaded guilty to unrelated charges of petit larceny.
