COURTLAND—A Franklin man has admitted to his role involving nine break-ins in Franklin.

Christopher Artis, 18, pleaded guilty in Southampton County Circuit Court to six counts of burglary and three counts of theft. Artis will be sentenced at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, for the break-ins that occurred earlier in the year.

The burglaries occurred at 599 W. Second Ave. 4A, 402 W. First Ave., 305 Bogart St., 700 Charles St., 401 W. First Ave., 827 Cool Spring St., 303 W. Fourth Ave., 302 Beamon St. and 307 Grove St.
