To the Editor:

Kudos to the voters of Southampton County.

We stood together at the town meetings and told the supervisors we were not happy with the status quo.

On Tuesday, Nov. 8 (“Clean sweep, challengers unseat four Southampton supervisors,” Nov. 9) we proved we were serious. We did not say “we want a change, but not our guy.” We, as citizens, voiced our opinion loud and clear.

Thank you to the outgoing supervisors for your service. Good luck to the newly elected.
