NEWPORT NEWS-Lucille West, 92, of Newport News died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at Sentara Nursing Center in Currituck, N.C.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at Peninsula Funeral Home in Newport News. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. West was born in Windsor and raised in Southampton County. She was a former employee of Montgomery-Ward and Sears-Roebuck.
