FRANKLIN—Franklin Fire and Rescue at 8:10 a.m. Friday responded to S.P. Morton Elementary School for a light ballast that had shorted out in a modular classroom, said Deputy Chief Mark Carr.

Everyone was evacuated when firefighters arrived and students returned to the classroom after the light was disconnected, Carr said.

No one was hurt.
