SUFFOLK—Faye Umphlette Darden, 64, wife of Ernest Howard Darden, died Oct. 25, 2011. She was born in North Carolina on Nov. 8, 1946.

Mrs. Darden was retired from VDOT and was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
