To the Editor:

I am writing this to express my support for candidate Ben Rideout for Isle of Wight County Board of Supervisors for the Carrsville District.

Mr. Rideout has been a longtime friend, and I feel his positive and uplifting spirit for not only the Carrsville District but all of Isle of Wight County is very much needed. Mr. Rideout has always been very dedicated to the betterment of all Isle of Wight County as well as the Carrsville District not only at this election time but on a continual basis and has also been a leader of community and county affairs for many years.

Just recently Mr. Rideout was responsible for organizing a committee to honor senior citizens along with small businesses in the Carrsville area.

Mr. Rideout’s genuine concern and sincere compassion for the seniors of the community is very admirable. During the hurricane, he helped with the Red Cross, delivered meals and helped those who were without power and needed a generator, continually checking up on them until power was restored, at which point he helped clean up and get things back to normal around their homes.

During the Isle of Wight County Fair, Mr. Rideout was responsible for getting golf carts and drivers to provide seniors with an easy way to get around the grounds and enjoy all that was offered. Mr. Rideout continuously talks to citizens and inquires about matters of concern within the community and ways they may be addressed.

I firmly believe Mr. Rideout will be the most dedicated and the overall best choice for this position on the Board of Supervisors.
