To the Editor:

I left the debate at Southampton High School with new hope and confidence after hearing the four challengers speak — Dr. Alan Edwards, Barry Porter, Bruce Phillips and our own Glenn Updike.

I have attended most of the Board of Supervisors meetings for years and have been on the Board of Zoning Appeals. I can tell you that Glenn Updike keeps abreast of all the issues concerning the county.

Glenn Updike will truly provide the representation our community deserves with respect, conservative convictions and honesty.
