To the Editor:

The family of Peggy Burgess would like to thank the emergency room staff at Southampton Memorial Hospital for all of their help with our mama/wife.

A special thank-you to Becky in the emergency room. We would also like to thank Connie Corbitt, Anne Burgess, Rita Beltrami, Jane Davenport, Grace Lynn Drake and many other friends and family for the food, flowers, cards, visits, prayers and phone calls. Thank you to the intensive care unit staff and doctors for 26 days of continued care on a ventilator. Mama is home and resting. She also wants to thank Dr. Dan Peak, her primary care doctor.
