SEDLEY—Ann Williams Creasey, 73, passed away September 23, 2011.

She was a lifelong resident of Sedley and the daughter of the late Joseph Edward “Jack” and Frances Collier Williams.

Ann was a former postal clerk with the Sedley Post Office and a former Brownie, Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader.

She was a member of Rock Church of Franklin.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years, Jimmy Creasey; daughters, Peggy C. Cheek of Sedley and Diane Creasey of Hampton; a son, James Allen Creasey Jr. of Suffolk; a brother, Thomas Edward Williams and wife, Ida, of Sedley; six grandchildren, Jamie D. Cheek, David A. Cheek, Dustin M. Clary, Emily H. Creasey, Brandelyn S.F. Clary and Richard A. Creasey; her beloved pets, Charlie and Furby; brother-in-law, Jewell Creasey and wife, Shirley; sister-in-law, Sabrah Cobb; her special adopted family, Tommy and Cindy Potter, Emma, Shelby and Scott and Ellen Corcoran; and nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt and uncle.

A private family graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2011, in Rosemont Cemetery followed by a celebration of Ann’s life at 2 p.m. at Rock Church of Franklin, 130 Lakeview Road, with Pastor David S. Dillon officiating.

The family will receive friends at the residence and suggest memorials be made to the Sedley Fire Department or Rock Church of Franklin.
