CHESTERFIELD—A Richmond-area man, whose two sons live in Drewryville, died in an accidental house fire at his Chesterfield home on Sept. 18.

Glenn Edward Shelton, 42, is the father of Hunter Andrew Shelton and Ryan Christopher Shelton. Firefighters at 8:45 p.m. responded to Shelton’s home after a neighbor reported seeing flames coming from the house. After the fire was brought under control, firefighters found Shelton’s body in his bedroom. He was badly burned.

Fire investigators say the blaze started in the bedroom but a cause has not been determined.
