SHELTON, Glenn Edward, 42, of Richmond, passed away September 18, 2011, in a fire at his home. He was a native of Charlottesville, Va. and the son of Sandra Stublen Shelton and James (Jimmy) Howard Shelton. He is survived by two sons, Hunter Andrew Shelton and Ryan Christopher Shelton of Drewryville, Va.; a sister, Karen Shelton Rife and her husband, Daniel Swanson Rife; a brother, James (Jay) Howard Shelton Jr., his wife, Amy Sawyer Shelton; two nieces, Tara Kaye Rife, and Sara Anne Rife; two nephews, Joseph “Joey” James Shelton, all of Richmond and Midlothian and Johnny Ray Shelton of Chattanooga, Tenn.; uncles, William Samuel Stublen Jr. and wife, Dorothy Babb Stublen of Portsmouth, Va., Robert Bowen Stublen and wife, Sue Thompson Stublen of Chesapeake, Willliam Lee Eure Jr. of Williamsburg and William Clayton Young of Madison, Miss. Special cousins and friends. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from New River Community College with degrees in Electrical, Electronics and Applied Science of Instrumentation Technology. Previous Employers were Qimonda North American, HKA Enterprises, Inc and International Paper. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 22, at Huguenot Road Baptist Church, 10525 West Huguenot Road, 23235 at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Huguenot Road Baptist Church.
