NAGS HEAD, N.C.—Trent Story, son of Ann and Bobby Story, was born on August 20, 1973, in Franklin, Virginia.

He was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Story Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Marks.

He attended Franklin City Public Schools and Christ Church School.

He was happiest hunting and fishing with his father and grandfathers.

He had a lifelong love of animals and worked with Animal Control, the Olde Towne School for Dogs and the SPCA. He valued his time working and counseling in the recovery programs at Second Genesis and Robinson House.

He was the proud father of two little girls, Mary Ann and Victoria Leigh Story.

He is survived by Hylah Marks Griffin; the mother of his children, Katherine Mulholland Story; Ann M. Story and Robert L. Story; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his friend Mandy Hewitt.

A visitation and reception will be held Friday, September 16th from 6:30-8 p.m. at Liz’s Simply Divine, 102 N. Main St., Franklin, Virginia. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Southampton Memorial Park, 27396 Pretlow St., Franklin.
