SUFFOLK—Virginia Parker Howell, 84, of Suffolk died Friday, Sept. 9, 2011.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at Parr Funeral Home in Suffolk.

Mrs. Howell was a former nurse and former employee of Thomas J. Lipton Co.

Among her survivors is a daughter, Jane Turner of Zuni.
