Thanks given to those at Southampton County shelter

To the Editor:
Words cannot express how much my family and I appreciated the staff of Southampton Department of Social Services and the kitchen staff of Southampton High School.
We were well taken care of at the shelter on Aug. 26 to Aug. 28 during Hurricane Irene.
We appreciate you. Keep up the good work.
