To the Editor:

I would like to thank all the family and friends who helped me celebrate my birthday on Saturday, Aug. 13, at South Quay Baptist Church.

Family and friends from as far as Denver, Colo., and Graham, N.C., and as close as next door came to help make this a joyous occasion.

You all have touched my life forever and each holds a special place in my heart. I have a big thank-you to all who made love contributions to Madison Arnot’s healthcare fund. She is such a brave little girl who needs us all. She has over $1,000 from my birthday to date.

Thank you to all the ones who helped with the planning and food for this happy occasion. God has blessed me with all of you in my life, and I love you all.
