COURTLAND—Due to the hazards associated with Hurricane Irene, Southampton County garbage dumpsites will be closed Saturday, Aug. 27, and Sunday, Aug. 28.

Dumpsites normally open Saturdays will reopen 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29. The normal schedule will resume Tuesday.
