Jan Duane Archer, 67, of Zuni passed away Aug. 22, 2011.

He was a maintenance plumber for Suffolk Public Schools and served in the Navy.

Mr. Archer is survived by daughters Kellie Redd of Suffolk and Michele L. Marsee of Zuni, and a son, Robert Archer of Carrollton.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk. Burial will follow at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.

Friends may join the family 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
