How’s business:  We are fortunate to be located in the heart of hunting and fishing territory midway between the Hampton Roads and Richmond areas. We have a great business and great customers.

Something you wish everyone knew about your business: Although we are a small store, we have a great selection and prices that are comparable to big box stores

Something you offer that a customer won’t find elsewhere: Personalized service, knowledgeable staff that uses what we sell, hard to find items that the big stores do not stock

Advice to young entrepreneurs: Find good people to support you. Know your market and your customers’ needs. Keep your costs under control and focus on your core business.

Your first job: First “real” job was in the Army as a transportation corps officer

Your role model: My parents. They made me what I am today.

The key to a successful business is: Treat your customers well and give them the best possible service you can provide. Control your costs, but don’t sacrifice quality in the process
