SEDLEY—Natherland Louise Faltz Turner, 78, of Sedley passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011.

Raised in Southampton County, she was employed at Danny’s Restaurant in Courtland and retired from The Village at Woods Edge.

She is survived by her children Queen Elizabeth Bryant of Hampton; Shirley Turner and Brenda Smith, both of Franklin; Robert Turner of Petersburg; John Thomas Turner of Courtland; Diane Myrick and Melvin Turner, both of Sedley; Annette Hicks of Skippers; Raymond Turner of Portsmouth; Jeanette Stith of Emporia; and Linwood Turner and Maxine Turner Williams, both of Chesapeake. She is also survived by a brother, Rossie Faltz of Courtland.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at St. Luke United Church of Christ with burial to follow at Zion Southampton AME Zion Church Cemetery.
