FRANKLIN—Paul D. Camp Community College on Sept. 30 will celebrate its 40th anniversary and hold an inauguration ceremony for its seventh president, Dr. Paul Wm. Conco, who joined the college on July 1, 2010.

In celebration, the PDCCC Foundation has created the 40/7 Society to continue the college’s legacy through this commemorative effort.

Since opening in 1971, the PDCCC has provided affordable, accessible classes while also helping displaced workers find new careers through its programs.

With each member’s donation of $407, the society will create an endowed scholarship. Every year, a new student will get financial assistance because of this investment.

Membership will be commemorated by a permanent plaque in the Franklin Campus Administrative Board Room and recognition at the inaugural events on Sept. 30.

To join the 40/7 Society, contact Laura Clark at 569-6780 or lclark@pdc.edu, or Dr. Patsy Joyner, 569-6791, or pjoyner@pdc.edu in the Office of Institutional Advancement.
