COURTLAND—Pork Barrel BBQ, the nation’s fastest growing barbecue sauce company, and FERIDIES, a Courtland manufacturer and distributor of the peanuts and specialty foods, have formed a partnership to produce and distribute Pork Barrel BBQ Peanuts.

A family-owned and operated business, FERIDIES is known for its large gourmet Virginia type peanuts. The company is partnering with Pork Barrel BBQ to provide barbecue-flavored peanuts around the world.

The two companies unveiled the new product as part of the three-day NASFT Fancy Food Show in Washington, D.C., which opened Sunday.

“FERIDIES is known as an innovator in offering the world’s best peanuts and specialty foods, and we are proud to bring this barbecue-flavored peanut to the marketplace,” said company co-founder Jane Riddick-Fries. “We take pride in our peanut products and are thrilled to showcase the new Pork Barrel BBQ-flavored variety.”

The peanuts will be available beginning July 25 online at www.feridies.com and www.PorkBarrelBBQ.com, and later this summer in grocery stores nationwide.
