DREWRYVILLE—Joe Sam Person, 90, of 8367 Southampton Parkway, Drewryville, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church in Branchville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Faison’s Funeral Home, Seaboard, N.C., is handling arrangements.

Mr. Person is survived by his children, Carol Taylor, Frances Turner, Maggie Person and Paul Person.
