FRANKLIN—Brian Hedgepeth has been named the new chief executive officer of Bronco Federal Credit Union in Franklin.

“The board, management and staff of Bronco Federal Credit Union have great confidence in Brian and look forward to working with him in his new capacity,” said Board Chairman Charlie Wrenn.

Hedgepeth has been the director of retail services at Bronco for four years. He worked for Virginia National Bank, and in 1994, moved to Crestar, which became Suntrust. Hedgepeth joined Bronco in 2007. He has spent most of his career in Franklin.

A graduate of Randolph-Macon College, Hedgepeth serves on the boards of the YMCA of South Hampton Roads, Franklin Southampton Economic Development Inc., the Robert Camp Ray YMCA Endowment Fund and the Camp Foundation.

He and his wife, Terri, are the parents of Michael and Katie. Michael and his wife, Amanda, are expecting the Hedgepeths’ first grandchild.
