SUFFOLK—Kenneth M. Jenkins, 51, died Thursday, June 23, 2011, at his Suffolk home.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Wednesday, June 29, at St. Mark AMEZ, 817 McKinley Ave., Suffolk, followed by burial in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. The family will greet family and friends at 654 Carolina Rd., Suffolk. Crocker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jenkins retired from the Army National Guard after 20 years of service.

Among his survivors is a sister, Wanda Daughtrey of Franklin.
