NEWSOMS—William C. Boone Sr. of Newsoms died May 17, 2011, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, May 20, at Apostolic Faith Church of God, Franklin. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park.

William M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
