FRANKLIN—During his first game back since breaking his collarbone on the soccer field, Franklin junior Tony Bland scored the Broncos’ lone goal during Wednesday’s 3-1 loss to Surry.

Franklin goalie, junior Bryan Holland, had 14 saves.

The Tri-Rivers District loss puts Franklin at 0-3 for the district and 2-7 overall. The Broncos will traveled to Appomattox Regional Governor’s School for a Friday, May 13, district match.
