COURTLAND—The Courtland branch of EVB received the 2010 Presidential Award for reaching the highest goal percentage in each of four categories.
They were deposit growth, non-interest income, past due percentages and referrals to EVB partners.
The branch also was named Gold Branch Winner for exceeding its deposit quotes goal.
“We feel our success was partly a result of the high yielding Reward Checking account,” said Kim Williams, assistant vice president/branch manager. “This was a team effort; the staff worked really hard during tough economic times.”
Kelly King, bank officer/assistant branch manager, won the Silver Award for Cash Management referrals.
EVB is an independent, full-service community bank with 24 branches in Eastern Virginia that marked its 100th anniversary in 2010.
